Imperial Tea Exports

Imperial Teas was founded in 1994 by a dedicated team, whose strong drive made it possible to reach the top 10 Tea Exporters in the country in a short time. Ever since 1998 Imperial Teas has remained within the top 10 Tea Exporters of Sri Lanka ranked the 6th largest Tea Exporter for 2010. Imperial now exports to over 60 countries around the world from its modern factory complex comprising of 310,000 sq.ft. built on free hold land, located close to the road linking the capital city of Colombo with its International Airport.

The Imperial Group's state of the art factory is ISO 22000(2005), HACCP, GMP, BRC, NASAA and USDA Organic certified, in addition to conforming to Japanese 5S quality systems of manufacture. Imperial Teas have been able to achieve recognition through stringent quality control measures adopted on a continuous basis, conforming to internationally accepted and recognized quality systems of manufacture.
