Baking Industry Association of New Zealand

The Baking Industry Association of New Zealand (BIANZ) provides support and promotes the baking industry. Our role is to lead and grow the baking industry and increase our baking apprentices in New Zealand.

Our members are important to BIANZ, they are owners, managers, staff and apprentices of a wide variety of bakery-related businesses in New Zealand, they include bakery's, catering business and cafe's.

We’re back again this year! And the Gingerbread man is getting married. We’ll be hosting competitions, demonstrations, master classes and live bake-offs. It's a fantastic opportunity to network with people in our industry, BIANZ members, bakers, café owners and industry suppliers. Who will be waiting at the alter for the Gingerbread man? Who will be the 2016 Bakery of the Year?
