Peter Brown is a Registered Patent Attorney, specialising in food and beverage innovation and natural products with therapeutic properties. He works with universities, R&D institutes, large corporates and SME companies to identify and leverage their competitive edge in the food industry. Leading the firm’s health claims advisory service, Peter helps assess his clients’ current and future product portfolios in relation to nutrient/health claims under Standard 1.2.7, as well as assisting with the self-substantiated health claim process. With a doctorate in molecular biology and protein biochemistry linked to disease, Peter's scientific background provides a solid foundation for quickly understanding a variety of technologies.
