Despite warnings they would not survive the Hawke's Bay frosts, the trees responded well to the careful nurturing they received, and did produce fruit, and more fruit.

From initially selling this exotic crop at the Farmer’s Market, a chance comment inspired Ant & Allison they needed to ‘add value’ to their product, and thus an experimental chutney and dressing were created, based around old family recipes.
Customer feedback from the Market confirmed this was the way forward, and thus more products emerged from the custom-built kitchen and St Andrews Limes was officially born.

The artisan-styled product range from this innovative company now includes, chutneys, pickle, curds, cordial, dressings and condiments, as well as pure, NZ lime and lemon juice, all without artificial additives or gluten.
