Japan Food Corp was founded in 1986 in Sydney, as a fully owned subsidiary of Pacific Trading Co and Kikkoman Corporation, Japan. Being a part of multinationals with extensive worldwide network has been a tremendous advantage to this young company. In April 2004 the company extended it reach across the Tasmania with the establishment of JFC New Zealand to tap a growing Japanese food market in New Zealand. The progress to date is very encouraging.
