At the heart of discovery is a cup of tea. Tea has shaped politics and geography. It has fuelled change, It has sparked exploration and invention.
This is the truth of tea. It is about history and culture - all distilled into a seemingly humble yet complex brew.
Our carefully curated collection of single origin teas come from the lush tea plantations of Sir Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon. After travelling, sourcing and tasting hundred of cups of teas we picked the very best for their quality, flavour and aroma, direct from the plantations.
Our mission is simple, to bring back tea to the same level of quality and experience as coffee drinkers enjoy.
Our planets future and peoples rights are important too with an organic and ethically sourced tea collection available. Our aim is to eventually be completely organic and ethically sourced. We are based in Eden Terrace Auckland, the directors Chris Matthews and Julie Warmington would love to talk tea with you.

Organic Island Green Tea

This organic tea from the island of Sri Lanka is a blend of green tea, the refreshing zest of lime and shredded coconut. You will love the health benefits of drinking green tea. As an antioxidant, it is mineral rich while also being lower in caffeine than black tea. Chamomile Apple spice

Create a feeling of calm and tranquillity in your day. This delicious organic tea blend is made up of full chamomile blossoms and cinnamon infused apple pieces which will comfort and soothe. Chamomile is known to promote sleep and relaxation by calming the nervous system, as well as having digestive and anti-inflammatory properties. When brewed this tea is light yellow in colour and has hints of apple and floral sweetness.

Organic English Breakfast

This organic classic Ceylon black tea is a class apart, full bodied and rich in flavour. This is a black tea that doesn't hold back. Traditional and genuine with a strong taste and a dark coppery appearance. This variety is a good example of why Sri Lankan teas have been kick starting the day for the world for over a century. It tastes perfect on its own, or with a splash of milk or honey to taste. Also delicious with a slice of lemon.

Earl Grey Bouquet

We took the classic and simple style of the Ceylon black tea, added some floral notes with rose, hibiscus and mallow flowers to create a special earl grey blend. The taste is exotic, sweet, fruity and refreshing. Enjoy anytime on its own or add milk, or honey. Ingredients : Black Tea, Bergamot Flavour, Hibiscus and Mallow flower.

Chai Time

This organic chai blend is a balance of the exotic, sweet and spicy. This is a generous tasting and aromatic tea inspired by the classic Indian chai. Ingredients include organic ginger, cinnamon, clove, cardamon, pepper blended with ceylon black tea. Ingredients : Black Tea, Cloves, Star Anise, Ginger, Cinnamon, Cardamon seeds

Caramel and Vanilla

We like our tea all day and into the night so we couldn’t resist this delicious afternoon tea. This superb blend is a lighter grade fine leaf black tea with Caramel and vanilla flavour. Simple enough to drink all day, yet complex enough to satisfy a late night cup. Delicious on its own or with milk, or honey. Pairs well with dark chocolate. Ingredients: Black Tea, Flavouring.
